The design of a tanker is always made in close cooperation with the owner to suit the demands for cargo treatment and cargo handling. Cargo lists, required loading and unloading time, speed and segregations have a major impact on the design. All aspects of the design will be checked, keeping these items in mind. A specification, including the cargo handling system, tank washing solutions, tank execution and finishing required by the cargolist will be delivered.
