Groot Ship Design provides a wide variety of services, like: Initial design, Basic engineering, Detailed engineering, Conversions and Consultancy. Before starting we will always agree with you what to do, to eliminate surprises. Working together with your team or other partners in one project is a challenge we will not refuse and if necessary we provide manpower on location to complete your project team.

We can provide in-house design and engineering solutions. Groot Ship Design has all necessary knowledge and tools available for hull design, power-speed predictions, stability calculations, construction engineering (including FEM), detailed construction drawings, etc. For the ships’ systems we have tailored made solutions. An integral approach of ships’ structure engineering and system engineering is possible.

For each service delivered Groot Ship Design provides a detailed report describing the case and the results. For designs and extended services a complete set of documentation, including necessary books and drawings, will be delivered allowing you, your team or your subcontractor to start immediately.
