Two more succesful launches
Two more succesful launches of vessels designed by Groot Ship Design in the last few days
The second Super Green 8500, mv 'Vectis Falcon', for Carisbrooke Shipping was launched at Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding in China on 28-11-2011. The first vessel from the series went on successful sea trails at the same time and is expected to be delivered end of January 2012. The third and fourth vessels are expected to be be launched in February and March 2012.
At Groningen Shipyard also the second vessel from the Sea-River Liner 3700 series, mv 'Lady Anneke' for Wijnne Barends, was launched on 16-12-2011. The spectacular launch, sideways into the narrow canal, went successful and attracted a lot of spectators. The first vessel of the series is being competed at the same time and will be delivered to the owner in January 2012.
